There'll be drawings, comics, maybe even proper storylines. Just give me six weeks. Please!

Hello again,

Long time no post once again, looks like we're getting tired of it. 33 posts is apparently the average number of pages webcomic artists do before they give up. We're nearing that, and it looks about right! I'm going to blame it on other commitments though. We're still young and can't yet dedicate our time to drawing much.

Also, no one comes here. Who am I writing to? Blergh.

The paper gangster drawing probably came from Tomb Raider, which is an awful film. But I liked the popping out target that she shoots at, like from the old FPS games on the PSX,

I am the first and greatest fan of the new Philosophy section. Some sneaky Googling might be needed before I actually grasp the concepts, but I love the lineart! Looking forward to the next installment.
(Still trying to come up with an idea of my own for some kind of serial project.)

Woo! So yeah, I've started a section called Philosophy, where I'll post V500-related crap. Not sure if it deserves its own section just yet, but what the heck, it gave me a chance to waste a few hours sorting out the layout and cleaning up some coding.

Still waiting on Carri for the song draws subject.

The weather here is amazing at the moment. I'm almost disappointed to be inside, but I spent some time outside yesterday, and had a few encounters with the sun on the way to/from lectures. If only my laptop wouldn't explode in direct sunlight...

Markus Phoenix, my lovely old Micra, was stolen last night, and it is rather upsetting and annoying. I have written RIP on the image, because I am not expecting the return of a car so old it would be more useful to explode than the drive around. So yeah, P is in the plural, despite the uselessness of RIP itself. If a dead thing can't live, it can't rest either. (I wouldn't mind being wrong on this one. Resting is great!)

We have put Song Draws on hiatus for a week, as we both have commitments to fill (which also conveniently explains the lack of Carri's entry. It is her turn to decide the band/album/song.

This week, Dan's brilliant rendition of Radiohead's 15 Step swept the floor with my questionable Videotape. Round 4's band will be Zebrahead.

Shamelessly using the concept developed by Adam and Joe, last week's band was The Killers (I chose Bones and Carri chose Sam's Town), and I think they turned out pretty well. This weeks band is Radiohead, using the album In Rainbows. They should both be up by Wednesday.

We both also experimented with doing comic strips, to see if there could be an actual theme to this site (other than an image-dump/song draws (which I really like)), but neither were happy with the outcome (although Carri's was brilliant). Here's to more experimenting (and hopefully better results!). (More brackets!)

Carri and I now have a plan. Each week we will choose one band, choose a lyrics or song and draw what we can based on that. It's kind of like song wars, except without the songs, or the war. Just products based on a shared theme. This week's band was Mew, and we have both done our drawings on time.

I have just uploaded mine, but Carri is having problems, it seems. I have seen it though, and it looks amazing!

We both really want to start an actual comic, but we don't have enough time to commit ourselves to it due to various forms of education, so I'm afraid it's just doodles/random pieces for now!

This week's band is... The Killers (anything but the new album)!

I was going to have my first ever uploading session tonight, but things have gone frustratingly wrong. For a start, the thumbnails of my pictures (in My Pictures) are suddenly becoming thumbnails of the wrong images. With the wrong names attached. And after groping around for the right picture, I've found that nothing will resize and that the pixel peckles Are Back.
So I'm going to bed. Night, Dan and the internet!
