I am indebted to both my greed and Sainsbury's packaging for this doodle.

Seems Carri is pretty quiet so far, but we'll see if it picks up. We both have a few deadlines coming up, which ain't so great (but will probably lead to more procrastination-fuelled drawings). Don't actually think I'm talking to anyone with this post, so will not say anything else. Except for this.

With this post I aim to achieve two things:

1. To test and see if cutenews is working properly, and that it looks-half-decent.

2. To welcome you to Midwich Cuckoos!

With regards to the second aim (the first having been completed if you're reading this), I hope you enjoy your stay. the site is run by Carri and myself, and we are very happy to have you. We will try to keep the commentary section updated too, but at the very least we will keep uploading drawings. It will be usual for us to take that in turns, but there may be extenuating circumstances that mean Carri or I will post twice (or thrice?!) in a row.

In this section, we will make commentaries not only on the drawings we do, but also, semi-surprisingly, on ourselves/our surroundings.

Oh, and be careful! This place is quite empty at the moment, so try not to feel too lonely!
